Servants Task Force, LLC and Georgia Ambassador for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund announces the passage of Resolutions in the House and Senate making the month of May 2023, “United in Uniforms Recognition and Remembrance Month”. A ceremony to celebrate the first month will be held April 29, 2023 at Shirley Hill Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia from 1:00-3:30 to present the first “Hero Plaques” to our Police and Fire Chiefs in Houston County to honor the men and women who protect and serve and put their lives on the line each day for the citizens, cities, communities, and our country. A tribute to those who serve in the military, veterans, and those who have lost their lives in the line of duty will be included in the ceremony as well. State leaders from the House of Representatives, State Senators, State of Georgia Law Enforcement Organizations, Georgia Firefighters Association, Business leaders, Veterans Organization Leaders from the VFW and American Legion, and representatives from the organizations we will be supporting with future events: Mission 22. Tunnel to Towers, Blue Lives Matter, and Warrior2Citizen that help provide counseling, treatments, and support for those killed in the line of duty that we are working to help end the number of daily suicides and succumb to PTSD issues. Very Special Guests: Georgia Gold Star Family Members. Speakers include: Shaw Blackmon (District 146 Representative), Ed Harbison (District 15 Senator), State Law Enforcement and Firefighter Association Leaders, and a special guest of Servants Task Force. These resolutions are the first that unites all men and women in uniforms in all areas of service with the goal of setting the foundation for all states to follow our example and begin the process of supporting and honoring their veterans in the future. Those who serve in the military, law enforcement, firefighters, the medical fields, and our veterans are our first line of defense and deserve to be treated with respect for the devotion to duty each possess in their given fields.
This year, Servants Task Force will be spearheading two projects that will raise funds to donate to the organizations listed above: the Hero Plaques for every community in Georgia to honor their firefighters and law enforcement departments with, and the “Christmas Coin Toss” giveaway to win a new car, truck, and cash on Christmas Eve 2023. Next year, plans are to turn the resolutions into bills to be passed in the House and Senate and then used for each state to have similar bills passed that “Unify” our Uniforms and Citizens, Communities, and Country. We expect a full capacity of 500 for this event with local and state media coverage. If you wish to attend; please contact us at the information provided below as we will have limited space in the building during the ceremony.
Questions and comments should be addressed here as well.
